Exclusive, Richly Ornamented Forged Fence (BP270)

Forged fence BP270 is one of the richest compositions in our range.

A dense diagonal lattice fills almost the whole surface of the panels, and against it rises the central motif: a forged shield surrounded by acanthus leaves and spirals. Openwork crests of volutes rise above the panels like a crown, and the posts end in balls.

Copper-bronze patina

The whole fence is finished in a warm copper-bronze patina that brings out the modelling of the forged leaves and the drawing of the lattice. The fence looks best on long runs: in the photos it runs on a masonry base along the front of a residence, forming a rhythmic, grand line.

A continuous fence

We offer BP270 with forged posts of our own production, so there is no need to pour a large number of concrete pillars. The fence then forms one continuous run, without division into panels by masonry pillars: a so-called continuous fence, which looks lighter and more uniform.

Part of the architecture

BP270 works well where the fence should be not only the boundary of the plot but part of the architecture: at residences with rich façade detail, at hotels and at prestigious company headquarters. The dense lattice gives more privacy than openwork fences without completely closing the view of the property. To complete the set we make a driveway gate and a wicket gate with the same shield and acanthus motif.

Ornament made by hand

Every ornament is made by hand in our workshop: we forge and finish the leaves one by one, and join the lattice with care for an even rhythm of the openings. The steel is protected against corrosion, and the pattern, height, density of ornament and colour of the patina are matched to the architecture of the house. It is a fence for owners who expect a palace effect and quality that shows up close. More designs are in our wrought iron fences section.
