Wrought Iron Park Fencing (BP219)
BP219 is classic park fencing made from massive materials. Vertical rungs are interspersed with forged rings and other forged elements, and the top is finished with thick forged arrowheads.

It is ideal for long boundaries around parks, estates and public gardens, where a traditional, robust fence is needed.
A fence for the long run
Panels are made to length and galvanized before painting, so long runs stay sound for decades. A matching driveway gate can be designed from our traditional wrought iron gates.
Rhythm instead of decoration
BP219 builds its effect through rhythm and proportion rather than detail. Tall vertical rungs follow one another at an even spacing, forged rings tie them together at a few points, and thick forged arrowheads finish the top. This installation is painted dark green and stands on a white base along a garden with mature trees, a classic combination for parks and estates.
Massive material for long runs
Park fences have to stay straight over hundreds of metres, often next to footpaths and roads. That is why BP219 is made from massive sections: the rungs resist bending, the rings stiffen them, and the rails carry the load to the posts. Panels are made to length and galvanized before painting, so the long run stays sound for decades with only routine care.
Why dark green
Dark green is the traditional colour of park railings in many European cities, and for good reason: it disappears against foliage, so a long fence does not dominate the garden, yet it still looks distinguished against a white or stone base. Black and graphite are equally possible, and the arrowheads can be picked out in gold for a more festive entrance section.
Where BP219 fits
The design suits residences, manor houses, parks, cemeteries and public gardens, where a calm, robust boundary is needed. It works as a front fence or as the outer line of a larger layout, and it combines naturally with a gate and wicket in the same style.
- heights from about 150 cm to well over 2 m,
- arrowheads, spears or plain tops,
- rings at one or two levels,
- dark green, black or graphite finish.
Posts for park fences are usually set in individual concrete foundations below the frost line, which keeps the line straight even where the ground moves with the seasons. Where the fence runs along a public path, the spacing of the rungs can be chosen to meet local safety guidance for children. Gates for maintenance vehicles can be built into the run in the same pattern, so the line is not interrupted by a different design.
Order without heaviness
BP219 does not close the space; it brings order to it. The fence becomes a backdrop for the house, the drive and the greenery, and the whole space gains clarity because the fence supports the architecture instead of competing with it. Its craftsmanship shows not in excessive decoration but in the quality of the form, with clean lines and a detail that complements rather than dominates.
