Divine Mercy Church Stained Glass Window (WK2)

WK2 is a church stained glass window of Jesus, the Divine Mercy, made in the lead technique.

Christ in a white robe raises his hand in blessing, and the red and pale rays flow from his heart over a radiant background; below them is St Faustina.

The window is in Jodłówka-Wałki, in the same church as our window of St John Paul II.

The highest quality of execution

The window is painted with metal oxides and fired at 600 °C (1,112 °F), so the image becomes part of the glass and will not fade or peel. The lead came that holds each piece follows the outlines of the figure, which gives the drawing strength and clarity even from a distance.

Next to the other windows in the nave, it forms part of a consistent series designed for this church.
