Hand-Forged Balcony Railing (BA46)
BA46 is built from large rounded loops around a central rosette, an unusual design that fits classic and modern buildings alike.
It is made entirely by hand by our metalwork blacksmiths.

Ribbons of steel on a curved balcony
BA46 was made for a semicircular balcony, where the line of the railing has to work with the curve of the facade. Its form is built from freely drawn ribbons of steel that loop around central medallions, with delicate leaves and stems adding lightness. In the photo it crowns a balcony of a cream house with a round window and wall lamps, where the dark ironwork stands out without overwhelming the elevation.
Flow without sharp breaks
The design is about continuity: each element passes into the next without abrupt turns, so the railing looks natural from every angle. The steel sections are chosen for stability while keeping the slender character, and every leaf and loop is shaped by hand, which gives each one an individual look.
The curve comes from the design
On a curved balcony the arc cannot simply be bent into a straight railing afterwards; it must be part of the design from the start. Here all elements were drawn to the geometry of the semicircular slab, so the railing stays consistent along its whole length. The pattern suits villas and classic houses, structured render, stone cladding and warm-coloured window frames, and similar designs can be found with our wrought iron balcony railings.
The wall lamps beside the balcony in the photo show another idea: forged lights in the same loops and leaves can frame the window.
