Wrought Iron Baluster Railing with Initials (BA10)
BA10 has a beautiful traditional pattern of scrolls, with a medallion in the middle where we forge the owners’ initials or any other motif they choose.

It is hot-dip galvanized, so it stands up to every kind of weather, and we make it to any size. For a wider choice, see our balcony railings.
A personal balcony
BA10 was made as an individual design for a semicircular balcony. Hand forging and precise bending let the railing follow the radius of the facade exactly, and a central medallion with the owners’ initials gives it a personal character. A lattice band in the upper part steadies the composition, while scrolls in the lower part add flow and lightness, so the railing reads well both up close and from the garden or the street.
Aligned with windows and cornices
The axis of symmetry and the proportions of the spans were planned against the window divisions and the line of the cornices, so the railing looks like part of the elevation rather than an addition. The photos show the balcony above the entrance of a family house with a steep tiled roof.
Initials, dates and emblems
The medallion can carry initials, a date, a house name or a small emblem, forged and gilded by hand. The railing is hot-dip galvanized, so it stands up to every kind of weather, and we make it to any size. Monogrammed balconies are popular with our clients in the UK too, from London to Manchester.
Anchored for horizontal loads
Railings for outdoor balconies are designed with both the proportions of the ornament and the way they are anchored in the slab in mind. A metal structure mounted outside has to be protected against corrosion and fixed securely so that it carries horizontal loads without deforming. When initials or a coat of arms are added, the central detail is balanced against the load-bearing structure, so the railing stays clear and harmonious and never dominates the facade.
