A Very Massive Wrought Iron Railing (BA42)
BA42 is one of the heaviest railings we produce. Large fleur ornaments sit between heavy turned posts, and even a short section has to be lifted into place by crane.
That weight reflects the quality of the materials, and the result looks monumental between classical columns, as in the second photo.
Corner posts and solid centres
BA42 is one of the most massive exterior railings in our range. Its structure is built on heavy turned corner posts and a strong division of the spans, a scheme typical of manor and palace architecture. The visual weight is carried by large central ornaments, moulded in metal and set into a forged load-bearing frame, so the relief is deep and the panels look solid even from the street.
Real mass, real stability
The ornament is not a thin application; it has genuine mass and cross-section, which adds to the stability of each span. The posts and horizontal members are sized so that the railing stays rigid over long runs, which is why BA42 suits representative terraces and wide balconies. On projects like this, anchoring to the balcony slab and transferring horizontal loads correctly matter as much as the design.

BA42 is exceptionally heavy, and photos do not fully convey its presence. You can see this railing in person in our showroom in Dębica, together with other balustrades, gates and fences. Seeing it next to lighter designs is the best way to decide how much weight your balcony or terrace should carry visually, and it lets you check the finish in daylight.
Scale for a classical facade
On buildings with a classical form, exterior railings must have the right scale and a clear rhythm of divisions; a structure that is too delicate disappears against a massive facade, so larger sections and stronger corner posts are used. BA42 was hot-dip galvanized and then finished to match the facade, so it resists the weather and keeps its durability for many years, even with heavy exposure to moisture and changing temperatures.
