Balustrade with a Coat of Arms (BA2)
BA2 bows out in a spectacular curve beneath an arched window, its lattice and scrolls crowned by a coat of arms in the middle.

The crest can carry any initials or sign, even a company logo. The railing is beautifully riveted and made to our highest standards.
Curved to the radius of the balcony
BA2 was designed for a semicircular balcony, where the railing has to follow the radius of the slab exactly. Instead of dividing it into straight sections, the whole panel was bent to the curve of the facade, which keeps the line continuous and the elevation harmonious. Beneath the arched window above it, the bowed railing becomes a strong architectural accent.
A crest that adds stiffness
The family coat of arms on the axis of the railing is not just decoration. It is built into the structure and takes part of the stiffness of the curved segment. Around it, spiral and lattice elements fill the panel and stabilise it along the arc. The crest can carry any initials or emblem, even a company logo, and the riveting is done in the traditional way.
Protected for outdoor life
The railing was hot-dip galvanized and then painted with a system made for outdoor use. Good corrosion protection is essential on balconies exposed to heavy rain and strong sun, and the anchors were designed to spread horizontal loads evenly into the slab. We make heraldic balconies like this for families across Europe and for clients in the United States, from New York to Chicago.
