Balustrade in the Form of a Creeper (BA39)

BA39 is shaped like a climbing creeper whose thick stems twist and loop along the railing, as if they had grown there.

It harmonises beautifully with log houses, timber facades, gardens and thatched roofs, and it is one of the railings we are proudest of for mountain settings. See more in our sculpted railings.

No symmetry, no straight lines

BA39 abandons classical symmetry and geometric rhythm. The bars are shaped by hand into irregular bends, their thickness changes along the length, and the surface keeps the marks of the fire. Every element looks as if it had grown out of the railing, like a creeper climbing a wall.

Free form, firm structure

The lower part of the railing is clearly stabilised, which keeps it rigid despite the free form of the infill. The handrail runs in a readable line above, separating the safety function from the artistic character of the panel. Railings like this require experience, because each fragment must be aesthetically coherent and structurally sound at the same time.
