Discipline rather than excess
BA24 is defined by a clear handrail line and a calm rhythm of vertical divisions. Its elegance does not come from a mass of ornament, but from the discipline of the composition: slender bars alternate with hand-forged scrolls in repeated segments, and the decorative motifs sit inside the frame of each span rather than spilling over it. At the foot of the stairs, the handrail turns into a large volute that welcomes visitors.
Fitted to the steps outside
Outdoor stairs are rarely perfectly regular. The railing was adapted to the changing geometry of the steps, keeping the handrail continuous and the posts firmly anchored. All elements were forged by hand, with control over the thickness and shape of the steel, so the ornament is part of the structure rather than an applied decoration.
Snow, rain and frost
The photo was taken in winter, with snow on the steps, which is exactly when an outdoor railing matters most. A steel handrail that stays firm under the hand on icy steps is a real safety feature. Outdoors, all our railings are hot-dip galvanized before painting, so salt and meltwater do not attack the steel at the fixings.
