Raising the rank of the entrance

BA58 was designed to lift the whole entrance zone. Balanced proportions, deep detail and a carefully finished surface give it a sense of solidity and prestige. Forged balusters stand at the key points of the stair, and between them volutes and plant motifs flow down the brick steps without becoming crowded.

Corners decide the quality

The elements were forged by hand, with control of temperature and sections. Particular attention went to the places where the railing changes direction, because the continuity of the line there decides how the whole railing is perceived. BA58 is the twin of BA57: both share the same construction principles, but each has its own pattern.

A railing at the front door is touched by everyone who visits, so the handrail of BA58 is shaped to sit comfortably in the hand and finished with a hard-wearing coat over the galvanizing. Where the steps are wide, a second handrail on the wall side can be made in the same style.

Ornament from the load-bearing logic

The ornament is planned to lead the line along the whole railing without crowding, and the volutes and plant motifs are clear but subordinate to a stable load-bearing frame. In railings with a higher standard of finish, the placement of the ornament must follow the axis of the facade and the geometry of the landing, and the joining technology and surface protection decide how long the structure lasts. Together with the brick facade, BA58 gives the entrance a distinctly prestigious character.
