Forged Loft Balustrade (BA70)

Honest steel

BA70 starts from the rawness of the material. Instead of ornament, it relies on straight lines, visible joints and clear steel sections: horizontal bars between massive round posts fixed directly to the ground, with a few geometric forged accents in the centre of the spans. In loft and industrial design the welds and connections are part of the look, so they are finished neatly rather than hidden.

Minimalism leaves no room for error

A plain railing shows every mistake in geometry. The posts must be perfectly plumb, the bars exactly parallel and the spacing even, which is why the load-bearing elements are set out with great care before the infill is fitted. The railing suits stone cladding and brick facades and gives an entrance a modern, industrial character.
