Forged Outdoor Handrail Balustrade (BA73)

BA73 is a richly decorated outdoor stair railing in a classic style with a delicate touch of Art Nouveau, following a flight of tiled steps.

It is made of thick materials and finished with a decorative metal newel post topped with a ball.

Long scrolls along the flight

Large, elongated scrolls with fine inner curls fill each span, and their long sweeping lines give the railing the gentle movement of Art Nouveau. Straight top and bottom rails hold the pattern in order, and the panels step down the stair together with the treads. The dark finish contrasts with the warm brown tiles of the steps.

A newel that marks the start

At the bottom of the flight, a stout post with a ball finial marks the start of the stair and gives the hand something solid to grasp. The same post can be repeated at the landing or at the top of the steps.
