Wrought Iron Manor Railing (BA48)

BA48 is an elegant manor-style railing designed to look beautiful on a classical facade. In the photo it crowns a curved balcony above a columned porch.

It suits small balconies and large terraces alike, and harmonises with classic mansions and palaces.

An elegant manor balcony

BA48 is an openwork steel railing in the manor style. Its centre is an openwork rosette, the sides are filled with refined scrolls, and the top line is drawn by a small metal lattice. Finished in deep black, it stands out clearly against light facades, as on the curved balcony above a columned porch in the photo, where it crowns the entrance of a classical house.

Matching railing and building

We always advise clients on how to match a railing to the type of building, and then make that vision real. Manor railings like BA48 suit manor houses, villas, residences and palaces, and they protect balconies, terraces, loggias, arcades and stairs alike. On a small balcony the pattern can be simplified to the rosette and two scrolls; on a large terrace it can be repeated span after span.

Durable outdoors

The railing is made by experienced artistic blacksmiths from high-quality steel, which is then galvanized and painted for outdoor use. It resists knocks and wear and is not damaged by the weather, so it keeps its look for many years. Other manor designs can be found with our manor and palace railings.

A porch balcony like the one shown is usually reached from an upstairs room, so the railing is also seen from inside. The scrolls and the rosette are therefore finished equally well on both faces, and the lattice under the handrail is ground smooth where hands rest on it.

Seen in our gallery

The structure of BA48 is very light and dynamic, which is why it works so well on balconies, loggias and French windows in buildings in the traditional manor style, where finishing elements such as railings have to be chosen with great care. A properly fixed railing also guarantees the highest level of safety. You are welcome to visit our exhibition gallery, where the quality of our railings is easiest to judge.
