Exclusive Forged Bench with Acanthus (MK3)
MK3 is a richly decorated baroque bench in which the acanthus motif appears everywhere: in the backrest, the crest, the armrests and the legs, all forged by hand.

The backrest is made of two curved wooden panels with a wavy top edge, set between and around open bands of acanthus tendrils in gold bronze. A crest of leaves sits at the centre of the top edge. The leaves are so deeply modelled that from a few steps away the bench looks almost like a sculpture. It is one of the most beautiful benches we have made.
Legs and armrests
The legs are powerful volutes that roll outwards and finish in leaves, the armrests end in curled acanthus, and a band of tendrils links the legs beneath the seat. The seat and backrest panels are dark wood, which makes the gold-coloured ironwork stand out even more; on request we make the wood in a lighter tone to suit your terrace.
Where MK3 belongs
MK3 is designed for large gardens, classical layouts, terraces and the entrances of villas. It draws every eye and is still a comfortable bench to sit on, and in a paved courtyard several of them can frame a seating area, as in the photos. Acanthus is a recurring ornament on our formal garden benches, and MK3 uses it most generously.
