Forged Bench for the Garden (MK5)

MK5 is a garden bench forged by hand by our master blacksmiths, with steel acanthus on the legs and arms framing dark timber slats.

At first glance it looks restrained: wooden slats, a dark steel frame and wooden armrests. Only on a second look do you see how much work went into the details. The top board of the backrest is shaped, higher at the ends than in the middle, with a strong wood grain. Beneath it runs a forged band with a monogram in a ring, surrounded by leaves and tendrils with gold highlights, and small crests of leaves sit on top of the frame.

Baroque legs

The legs are built from acanthus leaves and volutes, as on baroque furniture, and the edges of the leaves carry a gold patina. The armrests are made of wood and rest on forged supports, so where you put your hands the bench feels warm, even on cooler days. It is one of our most beautiful benches.

For a garden or a terrace

MK5 suits a quiet corner of the garden as well as a terrace by the house. The monogram in the backrest can carry your own initials, and the seat and backrest are shaped for comfort, whether for a short break or a long afternoon.
