Poppies and poppy heads

BM48 combines red forged poppies with poppy heads on tall, slender stems. The stems build a vertical rhythm, the flowers create clear accents, and smaller elements in the background complete the composition without dominating it, so the span stays light and orderly even from a distance.

Subtle depth

The details are not flat: petals are cupped, seed heads are rounded and leaves turn in different directions, so the span looks different depending on the light and the angle of view. Steel keeps the shapes crisp and lasts for years. We can repeat this design, or prepare a new one with a different arrangement of flowers, other proportions or a different height.

Poppies combine naturally with ears of grain or cornflowers, and a poppy span placed beside a grain span creates a small field along the boundary. The red is applied by hand over a zinc and primer base, so it stays bright in full sun.

Made for a client, open to change

The span in the photos was forged by hand from steel for a client. For the next order we can prepare a similar one or design the pattern from scratch: the density of the motif, the height of the composition, the direction of the stems and the character of the details can all change, so the span fits the architecture of the property without limits.
