Highland-Style Metal Railing (BA90)

BA90 is a railing made by hand from steel in the highland style of the Polish Tatra Mountains.

It blends perfectly into the mountain landscape: its main motif is tree branches, which give it a wild, natural look and sit beautifully with highland houses and homes built of logs.

The railing also carries elements of Podhale folk culture, such as highland rosettes and lilies woven into the whole. The black finish follows the regional tradition as closely as possible. The railing in the photos is installed near Witów, next to Zakopane.

Our speciality: unique railings

We make ironwork of a very unusual and beautiful character all over Poland, but around Witów and Zakopane we most often make pieces like this one. Our workshop specialises in unique metalwork in a natural mountain style, and many such pieces can be seen in person at our workshop in Dębica, about two hours’ drive from Zakopane.

Unique metal railings are what we do best: you will not find more distinctive designs anywhere in the country.

Steel instead of timber

Highland houses traditionally have timber balustrades, but timber needs regular care and weathers quickly on balconies exposed to snow and sun. A forged steel railing keeps the look of natural branches while lasting for decades with almost no maintenance. It can be fitted to a balcony, an outdoor staircase, a gallery inside a log house or the edge of a terrace, and the density of the branches is planned so the railing remains safe.
