Viking – Realistic Giant Metal Sculpture, 240 cm (Z127)

Z127 is a powerful Viking warrior, 240 cm (7 ft 10 in) tall and weighing around 400 kg (880 lb), made entirely by hand from steel and brass.

He stands with feet apart on a wide base, a long-handled axe in one hand, wearing a fur-trimmed tunic, a broad studded belt and brass shoulder plates.

The sculpture can stand in a garden as well as inside a building, and thanks to its weight and wide base it is extremely stable.

Real metal, real colours

Every colour you see on this Viking was achieved naturally, with blacksmithing techniques alone, and then sealed with a clear lacquer. There is no paint on the sculpture at all, so the steel it is made of stays visible, with all its tones from dark graphite to warm bronze where the brass catches the light. That honesty of material is what makes the figure so striking up close.

The face, the braided beard, the leather straps and the chain mail are all built from hundreds of individually shaped pieces, which gives the warrior a realistic, almost lifelike presence.

This sculpture is in stock in our company gallery in Dębica, Poland, where you can see it in person or buy it straight away; we also arrange delivery abroad. It was designed and made from start to finish in our own workshop.
