Forged Metal Dragon on a Rock – Steel Sculpture (Z43)
Z43 is a steel dragon perched on a rock, wings half-raised and jaws open as if roaring at an intruder.
It is designed for a house or a garden, and our blacksmiths put all their skill into it, so that it gains value over time.
About 170 centimetres of steel
The dragon sits on a base shaped like a rock, and the sculpture in the photo is about 170 cm (5 ft 7 in) tall. Every detail of the body, wings and head is worked by hand with great care. We can make it in any size, in the bright steel finish shown in the photo or with a darker patina.
A team with many talents
The people who make our steel figures are enthusiasts from different parts of Poland and from abroad. That variety of skills lets us take on unusual subjects and carry them through to a very high standard, whether the brief is a dragon, a mythical beast or a realistic animal.
Where a dragon belongs
A dragon of this size works as the centrepiece of a garden, at the entrance to a house or in a large interior such as a hall or a restaurant. For outdoor use the steel is protected against corrosion, so it can stand on a lawn or by a pond all year round. A pair of lamp-holding dragons is shown on the page of our large forged dragons Z96.
