Traditional Forged Gate with Climbing Vines (BP102)

BP102 is a classic openwork gate brought to life by plants.

Hand-forged leaves and creepers climb the traditional vertical bars, the top bursts into a fanciful crest with a hint of Art Nouveau, and the base is a blacksmith’s riveted lattice.

The lattice can be replaced with solid sheet for more privacy, and we are happy to change any part of the design.

Carry the pattern along the boundary

The vines and lattice translate easily into a matching wrought iron fence, so the gate and the fence panels either side look like one piece of work.

Universal and secure

Our entrance gates are intended for owners who want to secure the property and at the same time keep the boundary handsome. BP102 was designed in a universal traditional style, so it looks good in front of classical as well as modern buildings. The lower part is a lattice, the centre consists of vertical rungs, and the climbing vines tie the two together.

Built by experienced blacksmiths

The gate is made from high-grade material and shaped by experienced artist blacksmiths. It resists knocks and difficult weather, so it does not lose its looks over the years and needs no extra maintenance. The leaves can be fixed to masonry or concrete posts, and the gate suits masonry, panel and forged metal fences. Its solid construction keeps the property secure while leaving the view open.

Open to the view

Thanks to its open construction, the double gate gives good visibility and lets you easily check what is happening on the other side of the fence. The arched top is decorated with scrolls and a spearhead that rises above the meeting point of the leaves. Despite their generous size, our forged gates open very lightly and smoothly, which makes everyday life more comfortable for the household.
