Balustrade for the Residence (BA75)

BA75 is a very massive railing for a residence, running up a long marble stair beneath a mahogany handrail.

It uses the highest quality materials and workmanship, and we install it ourselves or ship it anywhere in the world.

A railing for a long marble stair

BA75 was made for a residence with a long, straight marble stair that turns at a landing. The railing is very massive: solid spirals and ornaments fill the spans between strong posts, and the density of the pattern increases towards the bottom, where the stair is seen most. A profiled mahogany handrail runs along the top and links the steel to the warm tones of the interior.

The lowest span repeats the main motif and closes the composition at floor level, so the railing looks finished from every angle of the hall.

Stiff over long runs

Long, straight flights and changes of direction are where railings tend to flex. BA75 is made from full sections, and the ornament is part of the load-bearing structure, so the railing stays rigid along the whole run and at the landing. The posts are fixed through the marble into the structure of the stair, not just glued to the surface.

Installed by us or shipped

We install railings like BA75 ourselves in Poland and across Europe, measuring the stair on site before production. For clients elsewhere in the world we ship the railing in sections, with drawings and fixing details, so that a local installer can fit it to the prepared stair. The mahogany rail can be supplied finished or prepared for final varnishing on site.
