Garden Bench – Blacksmith Sculpture (MK82C)
MK82C is a garden bench built as a group of steel sculptures: two life-size herons, a mallard landing on a branch and a lion’s shield above the seat.

The bench in the photos is about 350 cm (11 ft 6 in) wide and very heavy, since everything apart from the seat slats is solid steel. Once it is in place, it stays there, which makes it a sound choice for public parks, gallery gardens and exhibition grounds as well as large private gardens.
Herons, a mallard and a lion
A heron stands at each end with its wings spread, its plumage finished in silver and black. Above the backrest a gnarled branch grows across the bench, and a painted mallard is just coming in to land on it. In the centre of the backrest sits a shield with a lion’s head between two forged eagle heads. The legs are tree trunks with textured bark that spread into roots where they meet the ground, and the seat and backrest are made of slats stained a reddish brown.

Made to order, in many versions
We have built this bench in several versions, one of them for the grounds of the Bohema House ecological theatre in Warsaw, which the video shows. Because it is assembled from individual sculptures, the design is easy to adapt: other birds or animals in place of the herons, a different length, or your own coat of arms instead of the lion. A three-seat version with wild ducks is MK82B.
Tell us where the bench will stand and which animals you would like on it, and we will prepare a design for that particular place.
Ask about availability – some pieces are available straight away. We can also make this design to your measurements or modify it any way you like; we will give you the price and delivery time.
