Stair Railing with Roses (BA4)

BA4 is a stair balustrade full of hand-forged roses: spiral stems, leaves and flowers in copper and gold tones under a dark handrail.

Every rose shaped by hand

Each flower on this railing is forged petal by petal in our workshop, so no two roses are exactly alike. The stems are twisted into spirals and climb between the balusters, while leaves with pressed veins fill the gaps and soften the line of the stairs. The copper and gold highlights are applied by hand over a dark base, which makes the roses glow in daylight and lamplight alike.

We use the same flowers and leaves that we offer separately, such as the full 80 mm forged rose K5 and the large rose leaf L3, so a matching gate, balcony or banister can be made later in exactly the same style.

Forged from solid material

The roses are not welded-on extras: they are forged from solid stock and set into a rigid frame, so the railing stays stiff despite its three-dimensional detail. A clearly marked outer frame gives the composition firm edges.
