Steel Gate with Wood (BM14)
BM14 is delicate and very detailed: blacksmith scrolls, a large central roundel, a lattice base and a crown of curls over vertical timber boards.

There are two ways to build it. The wood can sit at the back of the gate, or in the middle of its structure, in which case the gate is double-sided and the forged pattern appears on both faces.
A monogram above the centre
Warm vertical boards with a strong grain form the background for dark forged scrolls that cover both leaves, and a large roundel drawn across the meeting line ties the two leaves together. An arched crest of openwork S-scrolls with a monogram rises above the centre of the gate, while a band of diagonal lattice runs along the bottom.
A classic, residential character
Together these details give the gate a classic, residential character, and the wood softens the dark steel so that the gate feels welcoming rather than severe. The monogram can carry your initials or a family sign. If you have any questions about wood species or finishes, just ask. More combinations of steel and wood are shown among our designer gates.
