Oriental Palace Wrought Iron Fence (BP128B)
BP128B is sumptuous: a crown sits on top of the panel, a Greek key runs below it and an oval medallion fills the centre, all in bronze and gold against black.

It was made for very demanding clients and pairs with our oriental palace gate BP128. More fences in this style are shown among our ornamental iron fences.
Crown, Greek key and medallion
BP128B is built from three layers of ornament. A crown of openwork scrolls rises above the top rail, a Greek key band runs right beneath it, and an oval medallion with a forged emblem sits in the middle of the panel, surrounded by bronze and gold scrollwork on a black ground. The vertical bars between the ornaments keep the fence secure and give the composition a steady base.
The photo shows the matching sliding gate BP128, made with the same crown, key band and medallions. Fence and gate were designed as one entrance, so the rhythm of the ornament continues from the gate onto every span of the fence.
Made for very demanding clients
A panel this rich takes many days of work. The crown is assembled from dozens of separately forged scrolls, the key band is bent and welded from flat bar, and the medallion is chased by hand before it is gilded. The steel structure underneath is solid and protected against corrosion, so the decoration never weakens the fence.
BP128B suits residences, villas and properties with elaborate architecture, where a plain railing would look out of place.
Ordering the gate and fence together
When the gate BP128 and the fence are ordered together, the crown on the gate leaves is drawn a little higher than on the fence, so the entrance stands out while the ornament stays continuous. The medallions can carry a monogram, a date or a coat of arms, which turns the set into a truly personal entrance.
